MF-SMDF050 Overview
To prevent damage to the devices, PTC thermistors are packaged in 2018 packages. Packaged in the Cut Tape for safety, these PTC thermistors are designed to perform at high temperatures. Temperature -40°C is the minimum operating temperature for PTC thermistors. There must not be an increase in temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to work. PTC thermistors have terminations of type 2. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 60V when they are operating. These PTC thermistors are designed for a current of 0 amps. The thermistors have been rated for a voltage of 60V in the DC circuit. The heat produced by PTC thermistors should be 1W. A PTC thermistor should not have a current greater than 10A.
