MC36239 Overview
PTC thermistors are packaged as SMD/SMT units to prevent damage. In order to provide safety protection, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape. A minimum operating temperature of -40°C should be set for the PTC thermistors. To make sure this thermistor works, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. A PTC thermistor could provide 6V voltage when operating. When it works, this thermistor can supply 6V voltage. A DC circuit uses 6V to rate these thermistors. There's no need to exceed 100A current for PTC thermistors. In order to achieve reliable performance, this thermistor should be configured to supply a maximum voltage of 6V.
