MC36232 Overview
In order to prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, these devices are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. To ensure safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape. It is advisable to set the PTC thermistors to -40°C as the minimum operating temperature. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 24V when they are operating. The voltage for which these thermistors are rated is 24V in a DC circuit. PTC thermistors should produce 1W heat.
