MC36230 Overview
A SMD/SMT package is used to protect the PTC thermistors from damage. A safety protective package is included with these PTC thermistors. It is recommended that the minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors be set to -40°C. A thermistor must not operate at temperatures exceeding 85°C in order for it to function properly. During operation, PTC thermistors could supply 6V voltage. When working, this thermistor supplies a voltage of 6V nominally. In the DC circuit, these thermistors are rated for 6V. PTC thermistors should not have a current greater than 100A. The maximum voltage that can be supplied by this thermistor should be 6V in order to achieve reliable performance. As a rule, this thermistor should not produce a voltage higher than 6V in the DC circuit.
