MC36228 Overview
To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape to ensure safety. It is recommended that the minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors be set to -40°C. It is important that this thermistor does not operate at a temperature above 85°C. When the PTC thermistors are in operation, they can supply voltage of 8V. These thermistors are rated for 8V voltage in DC circuits. It is recommended that PTC thermistors produce 800mW heat.
