MC36227 Overview
Keeping PTC thermistors in SMD/SMT packages prevents them from being damaged. To ensure safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape. Set the PTC thermistors to -40°C for a minimum operating temperature. This thermistor must not operate above 85°C in order for it to work. If the PTC thermistors were to operate, 33V voltage could be supplied. When it works, this thermistor will provide a voltage of 33V. The DC circuit uses thermistors with a 6V voltage rating. It is expected that PTC thermistors produce 1.5W heat. A PTC thermistor should not have a current greater than 40A. For reliable performance, the maximum voltage supplied by this thermistor should be 33V.
