MC36226 Overview
To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. Packaged in the Cut Tape for safety, these PTC thermistors are designed to perform at high temperatures. Set the PTC thermistors to -40°C for a minimum operating temperature. There must not be an increase in temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to work. A PTC thermistor could provide 6V voltage when operating. When it works, this thermistor will provide a voltage of 6V. DC thermistors are rated for 6V volts in DC circuits. Thermal resistance should be 800mW when PTC thermistors are used. It is not recommended that PTC thermistors operate above 100A current. For reliable performance, this thermistor should supply 0 volts.
