MC36224 Overview
PTC thermistors are packaged in SMD/SMT packages to ensure their protection. To provide safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape. A minimum operating temperature of -40°C should be set for the PTC thermistors. A temperature of 85°C should not be exceeded during operation of this thermistor. When operating, the PTC thermistors provide 16V voltage. A thermistor can supply 16V voltage when it is working, according to its nominal specifications. These thermistors are rated for 16V in a DC circuit. There should be 800mW heat generated by the PTC thermistors. There should be no current over 100A for PTC thermistors. If the thermistor is to provide reliable performance, the voltage should be 16V. When this thermistor is connected to a DC circuit, the voltage it produces should not be higher than 16V. thermistors with a voltage of 16V have been tested in a DC circuit.
