MC36222 Overview
PTC thermistors are packaged as SMD/SMT units to prevent damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape for safety purposes. It is recommended that the minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors be set to -40°C. A temperature of 85°C should not be exceeded during operation of this thermistor. PTC thermistors could operate at 6V voltages. This thermistor can supply 6V nominally when in operation. DC circuits use thermistors rated at 6V voltage. Ildeally, PTC thermistors should operate at no more than 100A current. For reliable performance, the maximum voltage supplied by this thermistor should be 6V. A DC circuit shouldn't exceed 6V with this thermistor. These thermistors have been rated with a voltage of 6V in the DC circuit.
