MC36218 Overview
To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. For safety reasons, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape. Setting the minimum operating temperature of PTC thermistors to -40°C is recommended. In order for this thermistor to operate properly, the operating temperature cannot exceed 85°C. When the PTC thermistors operate, they supply 24V. In theory, this thermistor should be capable of supplying 24V when it is working. DC thermistors are rated for 24V volts in DC circuits. It is recommended that PTC thermistors produce 1W heat. When using PTC thermistors, the current shouldn't exceed 40A. For reliable performance, the maximum voltage supplied by this thermistor should be 24V.
