MC36211 Overview
To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. Having a Cut Tape package ensures safety while using these PTC thermistors. It is recommended that the minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors be set to -40°C. If this thermistor is to work correctly, it must operate at 85°C. A PTC thermistor could supply 16V voltage when it is in operation. In the DC circuit, the voltage for which these thermistors have been rated is 16V. DC circuits should not exceed 16V voltage with this thermistor. For DC circuits, these thermistors can handle voltages up to 16V.
