MC36210 Overview
Into SMD/SMT packages, PTC thermistors are put to prevent damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape for safety reasons. A PTC thermistor should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -40°C. A thermistor must not operate at temperatures exceeding 85°C in order for it to function properly. As they operate, the PTC thermistors supply a voltage of 6V. During normal operation, this thermistor supplies 6V voltage. This type of thermistors has been rated for a voltage of 6V in the DC circuit. A PTC thermistor should not have a current higher than 100A. In order to ensure reliable performance, this thermistor should supply a voltage of 6V. If the DC circuit uses this thermistor, its voltage should not exceed 6V.
