MC36204 Overview
PTC thermistors are packaged as SMD/SMT units to prevent damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape to ensure safety. It is recommended to set the minimum operating temperature of the PTC thermistors at -40°C. In order for this thermistor to operate properly, the operating temperature cannot exceed 85°C. A PTC thermistor could supply 60V voltage when it is in operation. Nominally, this thermistor can supply 60V voltage when it works. In the DC circuit, these thermistors are rated for 60V. It is expected that PTC thermistors produce 800mW heat. When using PTC thermistors, the current shouldn't exceed 10A. In order to achieve reliable performance, this thermistor should be configured to supply a maximum voltage of 60V. This thermistor should not supply a voltage greater than 60V in the DC circuit. The maximum voltage for these thermistors has been rated as 60V in the DC circuit.
