MC36198 Overview
It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in Radial packages. Using PTC thermistors at -40°C temperature should be their minimum operating temperature. A thermistor's operating temperature must not exceed 85°C for it to function. When operating, the PTC thermistors provide 60V voltage. These thermistors are rated for 60V voltage in DC circuits. The heat produced by PTC thermistors should be 1.7W.
