MC36192 Overview
To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. PTC thermistors should operate at -40°C. There must not be an increase in temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to work. As a result, when the PTC thermistors are operating, they could supply a voltage of 60V. This is due to the fact that these thermistors have been rated for voltages of 60V in DC circuits. When PTC thermistors produce heat, they should be at 770mW.
