MC36182 Overview
In order to prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, these devices are packaged in Radial packages. For PTC thermistors, -40°C is the minimum operating temperature. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. When the PTC thermistors operate, they supply 30V. The voltage for which these thermistors are rated is 30V in a DC circuit. PTC thermistors should produce 3.8W heat.
