MC36176 Overview
A Radial package is used to protect PTC thermistors. PTC thermistors should operate at -40°C. A temperature of 85°C is required to ensure the thermistor works properly. When the PTC thermistors operate, they supply 16V. The voltage for which these thermistors are rated is 16V in a DC circuit. Ildeally, PTC thermometers produce heat of 3.3W.
