MC33196 Overview
It is recommended that the PTC thermistors be packaged in SMD/SMT packages to prevent damage to them. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape for safety reasons. Set the PTC thermistors to -40°C for a minimum operating temperature. It is important that the operation temperature of this thermistor does not exceed 85°C. The PTC thermistors could supply 8V voltage when it operates. During normal operation, this thermistor supplies 8V voltage. These thermistors were rated for 8V voltage in the DC circuit. Heat should be produced by PTC thermistors in the 800mW range. It is recommended that the current flowing through PTC thermistors should not exceed 100A. In the DC circuit, this thermistor cannot supply a voltage greater than 8V.
