MC33193 Overview
It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in SMD/SMT packages. Having a Cut Tape package ensures safety while using these PTC thermistors. It is advisable to set the PTC thermistors to -40°C as the minimum operating temperature. In order for this thermistor to work properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. When operating, PTC thermistors could deliver a voltage of 16V. A DC circuit uses 16V to rate these thermistors. PTC thermistors should produce 800mW heat.
