MC33187 Overview
A SMD/SMT package is used to protect PTC thermistors. To ensure safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape. The minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors should be set to -40°C. Ensure this thermistor is working at 85°C by keeping its operating temperature below that. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 60V when they are operating. Nominally, this thermistor can supply 60V voltage when it works. The thermistors have been rated for a voltage of 60V in the DC circuit. Thermal resistance should be 800mW when PTC thermistors are used. A PTC thermistor should not have a current greater than 10A. When the DC circuit is closed, the voltage supplied by this thermistor should not exceed 60V.
