MC33183 Overview
To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. A PTC thermistor should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -40°C. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. When used, the PTC thermistors could produce 90V voltage. These thermistors were rated for 90V voltage in the DC circuit. The PTC thermistors should emit 2.5W heat.
