MC33177 Overview
In order to prevent damage to the devices, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. In order to operate the PTC thermistors correctly, the minimum operating temperature should be set to -40°C. It is important that the operation temperature of this thermistor does not exceed 85°C. When operating, PTC thermistors could deliver a voltage of 90V. The voltage for which these thermistors are rated is 90V in a DC circuit. When PTC thermistors produce heat, they should be at 920mW.
