MC33172 Overview
It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in Radial packages. For PTC thermistors, -40°C should be the minimum operating temperature. A thermistor's operating temperature must not exceed 85°C for it to function. These thermistors are rated for DC circuit voltage of 90V. There should be 450mW heat generated by the PTC thermistors.
