MC33162 Overview
To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. It is recommended that the minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors be set to -40°C. The operating temperature of this thermistor must not exceed 85°C. As they operate, the PTC thermistors supply a voltage of 30V. As thermistors, these are rated for 30V voltage in DC circuits. A PTC thermistor should produce 1.2W heat.
