MC33161 Overview
To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. For PTC thermistors, the minimum operating temperature should be -40°C. It is important that this thermistor does not operate at a temperature above 85°C. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 30V when they are operating. DC circuits use thermistors rated at 30V voltage. PTC thermistors should produce 1W heat.
