MC33159 Overview
Keeping PTC thermistors in Radial packages prevents them from being damaged. It is recommended that the minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors be set to -40°C. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. A PTC thermistor could provide 30V voltage when operating. This is due to the fact that these thermistors have been rated for voltages of 30V in DC circuits. Thermal resistance should be 800mW when PTC thermistors are used.
