MC33158 Overview
A Radial package is used to protect the PTC thermistors from damage. Using PTC thermistors at -40°C temperature should be their minimum operating temperature. If this thermistor is to work correctly, it must operate at 85°C. As a result, PTC thermistors may supply 30V voltage at all times. As thermistors, these are rated for 30V voltage in DC circuits. It is expected that PTC thermistors produce 700mW heat.
