The MC-75A-AC230V is a Contactor (Electromechanical) with 3 Pole / Frame Size 100AF. An electrically controlled switch used to switch an electrical power circuit is called a contactor. A circuit that has significantly less power than the switched circuit is frequently used to control a contactor, such as a 24-volt coil electromagnet controlling a 230-volt motor switch.
