LVR012K Overview


For protection, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. For safety reasons, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Bulk. A PTC thermistor should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -40°C. This thermistor must not operate above 85°C in order for it to work. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. As they operate, the PTC thermistors supply a voltage of 240V. The PTC thermistors are designed for 1.2A current. A DC circuit uses 240V to rate these thermistors. It is expected that PTC thermistors produce 1W heat. In order to prevent overheating of PTC thermistors, the current should not exceed 1.2A.
