LSM6DSOTR Description


The LSM6DSOTR is a system-in-package with a 3D digital gyroscope and an accelerometer that boosts performance at 0.55 mA in high-performance mode and enables always-on low-power features for the consumer's ideal motion experience.

The LSM6DSOTR offers real, virtual, and batch sensors with 9 kbytes for dynamic data batching, and it covers the major OS requirements. The series of MEMS sensor modules from ST makes use of the dependable and established manufacturing techniques already in use for the creation of micromachined gyroscopes and accelerometers. While the IC interfaces are built using CMOS technology, which enables the construction of a dedicated circuit that is trimmed to better match the properties of the sensing element, the various sensing elements are manufactured using specific micromachining procedures.

The LSM6DSOTR features an angular rate range of ±125/±250/±500/±1000/±2000 dps and a full-scale acceleration range of ±2/±4/±8/±16 g.

As the module contains a dedicated customizable signal processing path for OIS and supplementary SPI, programmable for the gyroscope and accelerometer, the LSM6DSOTR fully supports EIS and OIS applications.

For the development and production of dependable products, system designers favor the LSM6DSO due to its high resistance against mechanical shock.

There is a plastic land grid array (LGA) package for the LSM6DSOTR.
