The LMZ22005 can operate from an input voltage rail between 6V and 20V and provide an adjustable high-precision output voltage down to 0.8V. The LMZ22005 only needs two external resistors and three external capacitors to form a power solution. The LMZ22005 is a reliable, robust solution with the following protection features: thermal shutdown, programmable input under-voltage lockout, output over-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, output current limit and allows pre-biased output startup. A sync input allows synchronization over a switching frequency range of 650 to 950 kHz.
