The LMS3635-Q1 and LMS3655-Q1 synchronous buck regulators are optimized for high-performance applications and provide 3.3V, 5V, or adjustable output (1V to 20V) output voltages. Seamless transitions between PWM and PFM modes and low quiescent current ensure high efficiency and excellent transient response at all loads.

Advanced high-speed circuitry enables the LMS3655-Q1 to regulate a 24V input to a 3.3V output at 400kHz fixed frequency, while also supporting 5.5A of continuous load current. An innovative frequency foldback architecture allows the device to generate a 3.3V output from an input voltage regulation of only 3.5V. Input voltage range up to 36V with transient tolerance up to 42V facilitates easy input surge protection design.

The open-drain reset output has built-in filtering and delay to provide a correct indication of system status. This feature eliminates the need for additional supervisory components, saving cost and board space.
