For safety reasons, these analog sensors are packaged inside the Cut Tape (CT). Analog sensors are protected from damage by TO-226-3, TO-92-3 (TO-226AA) packages. It is necessary for proper operation of this sensor to have 3 pins. Sensors with analog inputs should have 75μA current flowing from the GND terminal.
