Parameters
The LM2776 CMOS charge pump voltage converter inverts positive voltages in the 2.7V to 5.5V range to obtain the corresponding negative equivalent voltages. The LM2776 provides 200mA of output current with three low-cost capacitors, addressing cost, size, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues compared to inductor-based converters.

Under most load conditions, the LM2776 operates at only 100µA and operates at over 90% efficiency, which is ideal for battery-powered systems that require a high-power negative supply.

The LM2776 has always been available in TI's 6-pin Small Outline Transistor (SOT)-23 package to maintain a small form factor.
