ISO124U/1K Description


A novel duty cycle modulation demodulation approach is used in the ISO124U/1K precision isolation amplifier. Digitally, the signal is sent over a capacitive barrier with a 2-pF difference. Digital modulation provides excellent reliability and good high-frequency transient immunity across the barrier since the barrier properties have no impact on the signal integrity. The plastic body of the package has embedded pieces of both barrier capacitors.
