There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the WFDFN package. There are 1 outputs configured on the voltage regulator. DC DC switching regulators like this one generate Adjustable outputs on their output pins to handle the power management. 1MHz is the switching frequency of this DC-DC switching regulator. DC DC switching regulator's 2A output current allows for maximum design flexibility. In order to use this voltage regulator 12v at its full potential, the output voltage should be kept at at least 600mV. There is a maximum output voltage of 5.5V from this voltage regulator 12v.
