Electronic components have 3 pins. If you wish to obtain maximum eficiency, it is recommended to set the supply voltage of proximity sensors to 24 V. -40 °C is the lowest operating temperature that proximity sensors can reach. A proximity sensor cannot operate at a temperature higher than 70 °C. To ensure that the proximity sensors perform their function, the rate should be set to 250 Hz. In order for proximity sensors to work properly, the internal contacts of the reed switch should pass 200 mA. There is a maximum voltage of 24 V that can be applied to proximity sensors in DC circuits without causing damage. DC circuits with proximity sensors should not have currents lower than 10 V, otherwise, they are dangerous. This electronic part should be operated at 10 mA current in order to maximize its efficiency.
