DS1721S Overview
For safety reasons, these analog sensors are packaged inside the Tube. The analog sensors are put into 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) packages to protect the devices from damage. In order to operate properly, this sensor has 8 pins. This electronic part has 8 terminations. During normal operation, the analog sensors can supply 1.25mA current. Ideally, this sensor should provide a voltage of 5.5V in a DC circuit. A magnetic switch may provide a minimum DC voltage of 2.7V in a DC circuit, however. When it operates, analog sensors can provide 5.5V voltage. A sensor like this can be powered with 1mA current in theory. Sensors generally output 2.4V voltages.
