The 20-bit DAC11001A, 18-bit DAC91001, and 16-bit DAC81001 (DACx1001) are high precision, low noise, voltage output, single-channel digital-to-analog converters (DACs). The DACx1001 is monotonic by design, providing excellent linearity below 4LSB (max) over all ranges.

The unbuffered voltage output provides low noise performance (7nV/√Hz) and fast settling time (1µs), making this device ideal for digital input Class D audio amplifiers in low noise, fast control loop and waveform generation applications. The DACx1001 combines enhanced anti-glitch circuitry and code-independent ultra-low glitch (1nV-s) for clean waveform ramp-up and ultra-low total harmonic distortion (THD).

The DACx1001 devices contain a power-on reset circuit so that the DAC can be powered using the known value in the register. Using an external reference, DAC outputs from VREFPF to VREFNF can be achieved, including asymmetric output ranges.

The DACx1001 uses a general purpose 4-wire serial interface that operates at clock frequencies up to 50MHz. The DACx1001 is rated for an industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
