BU806 Overview


A collector emitter saturation voltage of 1.5V allows maximum design flexibility.As a result of vce saturation, Ic reaches its maximum value (saturated), and vce saturation(Max) is 1.5V @ 50mA, 5A.Single BJT transistor is recommended to keep the continuous collector voltage at 8A in order to achieve high efficiency.Keeping the emitter base voltage at 6V allows for a high level of efficiency.As defined by current rating, the maximum current a fuse can carry without deteriorating too much is 8A for this device.Maximum collector currents can be below 8A volts.
