BD681 Overview


As explained above, DC current gain takes into account the rate at which the base current flows through the collector current; therefore, DC current gain for this device is 750 @ 1.5A 3V.The collector emitter saturation voltage is 2.5V, giving you a wide variety of design options.Single BJT transistor means that Ic is at Single BJT transistors maximum value (saturated), so the vce saturation(Max) is equal to 2.5V @ 30mA, 1.5A.Continuous collector voltage should be kept at 4A for high efficiency.An emitter's base voltage can be kept at 5V to gain high efficiency.Normally, a fuse's current rating refers to how much current it can carry without deteriorating too much, which in this case is 4A.As you can see, the part has a transition frequency of 10MHz.During maximum operation, collector current can be as low as 4A volts.
