A Radial package is used to protect the PTC thermistors from damage. In order to operate the PTC thermistors correctly, the minimum operating temperature should be set to -40°C. A temperature of 125°C is required to ensure the thermistor works properly. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. It has 2 pins. As they operate, the PTC thermistors supply a voltage of 30V. These PTC thermistors are designed to operate at 120mA current. thermistors in the DC circuit are rated at 30V volts. A PTC thermistor should not have a current above 700mA. For reliable performance, this thermistor should supply a voltage of 30V.
