When used, the PTC thermistors could produce 80V voltage. In order to design PTC thermistors for 3A current, they must have a negative voltage. This type of thermistors has been rated for a voltage of 80V in the DC circuit. It is recommended that the current flowing through PTC thermistors should not exceed 3A. If you want reliable performance from this thermistor, the voltage should be at 80V.
