A Radial package is used to protect the PTC thermistors from damage. PTC thermistors are packaged in the Box as a safety measure. A PTC thermistor should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -40°C. There must be no temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to function. These thermistors have 2 pins. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 80V when they are operating. These PTC thermistors have been designed for 4.3A current. PTC thermistors should not have a higher current than 4.3A.
