Radial packages are used for PTC thermistors to prevent the devices from being damaged. To provide safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Bulk. Temperature -40°C should be set as the minimum operating temperature for PTC thermistors. A thermistor's operating temperature must not exceed 125°C for it to function. The thermistor has a maximum of 2 pins. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 265V when they are operating. These PTC thermistors have been designed for 400mA current. A PTC thermistor should not have a current greater than 400mA.
