To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. It is recommended that the minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors be set to -40°C. A thermistor must not operate at temperatures exceeding 125°C in order for it to function properly. PTC thermistors have 2 terminations. This thermistor has 2 pins. During operation, PTC thermistors could supply 265V voltage. In the PTC thermistors, 1.5A is the current they are designed to handle. This type of thermistors has been rated for a voltage of 265V in the DC circuit. The current for PTC thermistors should not be higher than 1.5A. This thermistor must be operated at 265V voltage in order to be reliable.
