To prevent damage to the devices, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. Having a Tape and Reel package ensures safety while using these PTC thermistors. It is recommended to set the minimum operating temperature of the PTC thermistors at -40°C. A thermistor must not operate at temperatures exceeding 125°C in order for it to function properly. A thermistor like this has 2 pins. As the PTC thermistors operate, they could supply 265V voltage. For the PTC thermistors, the current requirement is 460mA. There should be no current over 7A for PTC thermistors.
