PTC thermistors are packaged in 4032 packages to prevent damage. To provide safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). In order to operate the PTC thermistors correctly, the minimum operating temperature should be set to -40°C. There must be no temperature above 125°C for this thermistor to function. PTC thermistors are terminated at 2. There are 2 pins in this thermistor. In theory, this thermistor is capable of providing 63V voltage when it is in operation. For PTC thermistors, 80mA is the current.
