A 3225 package is used to protect the PTC thermistors from damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape for safety reasons. In general, the PTC thermistors should be set to -40°C as their minimum operating temperature. There must not be an increase in temperature above 125°C for this thermistor to work. A PTC thermistor has a termination of 2. A thermistor like this has 2 pins. When operating, PTC thermistors could deliver a voltage of 80V. A thermistor of this type should be able to supply 80V voltage when it is operational. PTCC thermistors have been designed for a current of 65mA.
