It is common to find NTC thermistors packaged in the form of a Tape & Reel (TR). NTC thermistors can operate reliably at 170°C due to their maximum operating temperature. It is recommended that NTC thermistors be used at a temperature of -55°C in order to ensure reliability. In order to make the NTC thermistors function properly, the 2 pins must be connected. It is possible to operate the NTC thermistors at a maximum current of 3.5A without too much degradation of the fuse elements.
